Every week your child has the opportunity to share something with the rest of the class.   We ask that you or your child place the item in a bag with the first letter of the item written on the bag.  Your child’s name should be on the bag also.

It helps if they practice saying two or three things about the item at home so that they will be more comfortable telling us about it.

Please no toys or stuffed animals!

Here are some sharing ideas you can try:

v     A favorite book (put a marker in your favorite part.

v     Something they have made.

v     Something special about themselves (photo, trophy, treasure).

v     An item from a unit that we are studying or have studied.

v     A book that they can read (even a page that they have learned).
