Activity #1: Complete the addition problems on the back of this sheet.

Plus, choose 3 of the following:

Activity #2: Go on a "good smells hunt!" Go into your kitchen, and look in the refrigerator, pantry, or maybe on the stove. What good smells did you find? Write them down.

Activity #3: Play the "secret person game." Think of a person, give some special clues about this person, and see if Mom or Dad can guess who you are talking about.

Activity #4: Draw a TV set. Show the different characters in your favorite TV program. Tell Mom or Dad why you like these characters. What is your favorite show?

Activity #5: A, E, I, O, U are special letters called vowels. Practice making each of the short vowel sounds with Mom or Dad. Here are some words to help you make the correct sounds: apple, elephant, igloo, octopus, umbrella.

Activity #6: First, make sure you know your left from your right. Then, sing "The Hokey Pokey" song with Mom or Dad. Make sure to do the verses about your right foot, left foot, right hand, left hand, and right side, left side.

Activity #7: April is a wonderful month to gather flowers for special people in your life. Ask Mom or Dad if you may pick two flowers from your yard and give them to someone special. Who did you give them to?
